Messe Essen and the Moscow-based fair organiser International
Exhibition Complex (IEC of AREC) made a positive assessment of FLOWERS
IPM Moscow 2013. The plant trade fair took place in the All Russian
Exhibition Center (AREC) in Moscow on August 28-30.
The around
360 exhibitors and 21,760 visitors, including 71 percent trade visitors,
used the extended range on offer: For the first time, the exhibition
portfolio encompassed not only plants, tree nurseries, flower breeding,
technology and equipment but also cut flowers. For this purpose, Messe
Essen successfully cooperated with EXPO FLORA RUSSIA which was staged by
the Dutch organiser HPP Exhibitions and in which 40 exhibitors
participated.
The organisers of FLOWERS IPM Moscow 2013 showed
that they were particularly pleased about the increased number of the
international cooperative booths: This year, Denmark, Ecuador, Ethiopia,
Germany, Italy and Kenya were represented with official appearances.
Exhibitors came to the fair from 31 countries in total. According to the
information from the exhibiting firms and the associations, the German
cooperative booth in the centre of Fair Pavilion 75A was well-visited.
Egon
Galinnis, Managing Director of Messe Essen: "The high international
participation confirms our strategy of opening up new markets for our
exhibitors using formats like FLOWERS IPM Moscow."
